Excellent place to wash our laundry, thank you so much!

I had some laundry that needed to done quickly. Most places don't do wash and fold on Saturdays. They were quick and everything was clean and nicely folded. I would definitely use them again

Clean Laundry on 59th & Douglas Des Moines, IA is a great place to do your laundry! The laundrymat is clean & the attendant working there, Lisa, helped me choose the right size of washing machine for my laundry size. The owner is lucky to employ this hard working woman. She was cleaning each machine thoroughly! I will definitely come back to Clean Laundry.

Very clean place, the machines are huge. Got a free massage from the guy who was working there. Pause... he gave me money for the massage chair to make sure it worked.

Cleanest laundromat I have ever been too! And prices were reasonable! Only thing I wish is they had seats with a table or something to use a computer on while waiting!

It’s called Clean Laundry for a reason! When trying to find a laundry mat one of the biggest things I look for is overall cleanliness and Clean Laundry delivers! Also you can get all your laundry done in about an hour. Would recommend!

I was nervous to come here today for the first time to leave my cloths for wash dry & fold service, especially since yesterday i had a really bad experience with the lady that works at another laundromat place call Busy Bubbles(left a review there as well). The moment i walked into Clean laundry i liked it everything was so clean, smelled good and specially The service of the blonde lady that wears glasses made me feel welcomed like if i been coming here for ever. The way she explained to me everything, from the services they offer to having the option of picking up my cloth from the lockers . That was awesome!! Thank you for making me feel welcomed i can assured you that you will have my business from now on.

Estaba nervioso por venir aquí hoy por primera vez para dejar mi ropa en el servicio de lavado, secado y doblado, especialmente porque ayer tuve una muy mala experiencia con la señora que trabaja en otra lavandería llamada Busy Bubbles (también dejé un review allí). ). En el momento en que entré a Clean Laundry me gustó, todo estaba muy limpio, olía bien y especialmente El servicio de la señora rubia que usa anteojos me hizo sentir bienvenido como si hubiera estado viniendo aquí desde siempre. La forma en que me explicó todo, desde los servicios que ofrecen hasta tener la opción de recoger mi ropa de los casilleros. Gracias por hacerme sentir bienvenido. Very clean. All washers and dryers have clear instructions with multiple load capacities. These are most efficient for very large loads, such as bedding, pillows, and work clothing. Machines appear to be newer and well-maintained. An employee is present, and she appears pleasant as she helps someone with a dryer problem. It was not busy in the middle of the day on a Thursday. This was my first visit, and I plan to return with bedding and pillows. Strongly recommend.

Excelente lugar, me gusta que es aseado y muy ordenado las máquinas un poco elevadas de precio pero valen la pena el ambiente y la amabilidad de la persona que está trabajando en este lugar. Lo preferimos siempre por su limpieza y tranquilidad .

this facility is actually alright as far as laundromats go, I mean no one really likes your to one. this particular day I went on a Sunday afternoon. it was slighty busy not too bad when I first got there. there where still machines available. I used 3 lg a med and a regular machine. (should of went the week before, but again who wants to spend there day off hauling baskets of dirty clothes around!) anyways.. it was I think 9$ 6$ and 4$ each load- not really that bad! I get my stuff in front of the 3 big machines I want to use. get my quarters and start outtn stuff in one machine. didnt see that somebody had came and used one of the machines.. kinda irritating so I justuae one on the other side. I get the last machine ready( I use oxy and the pellets that smell soo good) and then guy who is cleaning says oh that machine is out of order, because of course someone took the dang tape off but even at that it wasn't labeled very well to begin with. so that really irritated me.. people standing there who , I guess knew this, could of helped a girl out. so now I've wasted the oxy and pellets and have to take it all out and move it around to the other side as well. but the clerk working actually did a good and paid 6$ on the wash. thought that was pretty alright. the place had started to get a lil crowded at this point and I have 5 machines that now none of them are next to each other. this family came in a mom 3 teenage-ish and 2 younger elementary kids..of course they start unloading their baskets on the side where with 2 of the machines I'm using. taking up all the space with ya know 6 huge black garbage bags and 5 laundry baskets . mom making the older ones keep a look out for an empty machine cuz now the place is pretty packed, and so these damn girls are literally standing right in front of the my machinea I can barely get the basket in front of it to unload it and then when I try to move to go to the dryers one of them is basically reaching over me to put stuff In the machine but I can't freaking move cuz the other one is just standing there not moving at all. I'm like excuse me- yes a little loud and yes with a little attitude to bother do then at the same time, cuz come on, maybe if you let me get out of the way you could maybe have room to do your thing.. if course they now keep giving me dirty looks but whatever. and one main reason I usually do this at night is i like my dryers right next to each other so I can keep track of them and it showed sucked I kept thinking different machines where mine and thinking I was missing a load that someone must of stolen one( nobody did). and of course the uh oh I need to move family was out of control. momm went to the car the kids where running around being loud they sat in the chairs right basically on to.of the rebel I was using to.foel my clothes. mom comes in starts yelling at he kids now so you've got her yelling the kids screamimg at each other or playing around. I'm now all anxiety fueled on edge. I end up not even folding all my stuff. all the typical things one would expect when you think of going to the laundromat. in favor of this one though- the machines work good there was only one broke down, all the dryers where working, it was clean had a decent amount of sitting spots. they offer free wifi. as I said washers aren't overly pricey and drying is fairly cheap at 1$ for 6 min and then .25¢ for additional 6 if loaded before it stops and the machines have good heat. parking is good . a few spots up front, but a big parking area around back with a back back door entrance. oh and the bathrooms are open if I didn't say it already. in another few weeks Ill be going back.. it's just so much fun!!

Clean place to do laundry.

Friendly staff, and so are many of the patrons. Very positive laundry experience. We love paying with the app. No more wrangling quarters. Climate control and the floors are swept. Never found any hair in any of the machines.

Nice facility! Relatively clean. Fully stocked with detergents and machines run well. Only docking a star because I tried to use the $5 massage chair and it just ate my money. I assume the same thing to be true if a machine malfunctions, as there are posted signs that all sales are final and no refunds are given. So, if you’re going to use this spot (which I do recommend), just sit in the metal chairs and don’t bother trying to buy a nice 15minute massage.

Place was dirty attendant hand not arrived yet at 12:00 not to be seen. But the tiles and machine are nice under trash on floor

Restoom is locked Attendant who finally arrived had a poor attitude Said we don't have to supply a restroom And I said well it drives off customers I won't be back I went to restroom to find a man working on electricity That's great but still hoping I don't pee myself

I won't be back here Other friendlier establishments in town I've used Im a travel worker I've never felt like my business was so under appreciated

The one in Iowa city is great Been there and will return Never saw a locked restoom

Lady complained about homeless people A lot of them can't help it Show mercy says the lord As long as they aren't bothering anyone

Last laundry I used I just asked the person to step out while I used the restoom He didn't.

Be thankful You could be a homeless person easily Businesses fail and you'll wish I had mercy when you come out of the cold in your business and not bother anyone

I used to really like this laundromat, but ever since it’s gone 24 hrs, there’s always homeless people camped out and tonight there was one smoking in here. It’s just really disappointing that it’s become more run down and there’s no one here until 9pm anymore.

I was not expecting this place to be so expensive, pre set for $4.50 per load for the small load machine, $9.00 for the big machine! I was caught off guard, my mistake for not checking ahead of time, tell me why one of my loads came out smelling like pee 🤢🤮then there are hair balls on the floor and laundry detergent powder everywhere. Guy working is not friendly. This was my first and last time. My experience does not mean yours will be the same but mine was enough for me to know I will

I'm at the Douglas Avenue store, and driers 35,36,37,38 and 39 don't heat up very much. I've put way more extra coins in them to no avail. Not a happy experience. Clean your lint traps and fix the heating issue.

You changed your hours, yet you can’t even have a staff member be here to open the bathroom. What kind of public service keeps their bathroom locked?! Horrible practice to your establishment. We will be taking our business elsewhere

Six dollars for one small load of laundry???!!!

I’m very disappointed after my experience here today. My apartment’s dryer is out of service so I went here for laundry. VERY expensive for only 25 minutes of wash time and you can’t even use your scent beads.. the “one hour” is total bs. I had to restart the dryers multiple times for my laundry to be dried.. very annoying considering that is why I’m here. I left with one load still damp because I had just had enough. There’s a sign that says “no refunds, all sales final” I felt this was a total rip off for a laundromat.

Barely any water in the washing machine. The app wouldn't work, the card machine wouldn't work. Trash all over the floor andddd I couldn't use the bathroom JUST TO WASH MY HANDS because it's for customers only- even though I just paid 5 dollars to get my clothes a little wet.
Yep, like I thought. My clothes were not clean when they were done. They still even smelled and had dirt. It was not overloaded either. What a rip off!

Only reason I came to this location was because I was told in the website and here in the reviews it had free drying .. that was a lie .
